| Brooks was my do~it~all dog. He loved to run and attained his Dual Championship thanks to his co-breeder, Renee McCartin, who insisted that he could do this. I had the pleasure of releasing Brooks for his Best In Field. Brooks was also NBQ Veteran at the 2004 Nationals ASFA trial. |

My friend, Becky Smith, took
Brooks on at 6+ years of age and started doing obedience with him. She had never worked with an older, male Borzoi before and she was surprised at his ability and his apparent enjoyment. Training for obedience began in early February of 2004 and he got his final leg in July 2004, picking up a high scoring hound award in the process. This was done in only four shows. |

I never thought I would have another 'heart'
dog after Sabre died.
I don't know what it is about these dogs who come down from the Abidjan Kennel, but they grab your heart and hold on for dear life. My life has been enriched by having Brooks in it, but it is so very empty without his beautiful face, his loving looks, his gentleness and his hop-hop exuberance. |

Brooks was only bred
twice, but those two litters have done well for themselves Litter One:
Ch Dibar's
Belle of the Ball JC
