Laika was the pick of the entire litter, as one can easily see.  She was always our very aloof baby
and would sit in the yard when all the others were in the run, saying. . . ‘if you want me in there you
 have to come and get me.’  And we did oblige her.  Laika lived for a while with friends in Iowa and
picked up her remaining single points and needed only majors to finish. 

We lost Laika at an early age.  We miss her wonderful attitude of ‘I’m the queen.’
